Live-In or Live-Out Full-time Housekeeper/Cook near Whitsbury, Hampshire.
Salary: £35,000 GPA or more depending on experience.
Brand new build with amazing potential to make the role your own! A lovely, informal family is seeking to employ a kind and helpful Housekeeper that is passionate about making a home sparkle. You will help this family with two adults and two children keep their house ticking along with tidying and laundry. You will be a confident cook able to prepare family favourites. The house is undertaking a brand new refurbishment and will be a dream to keep clean and maintained.
There is a cleaner already employed for the weekly cleaning and you will be charged with ensuring the house is tidy the rest of the week. They are especially needing someone happy to prepare meals on the weekend for their family and occasionally guests.
The family is warm, kind and welcoming, wanting someone long term that will feel like they are a part of the family.
They will provided a newly refurbished detached accommodation that consists of a large room with kitchenette and en suit. The family is happy for you to have a pet as long as it gets on well with the other pets on the property. The residence is located on the edge of a stunning forest with lots of lovely walks and picturesque views. Perfect for someone who loves the countryside as you will wake to the sound of birds chirping and the sights of wild life. The accommodation will be ready to move in the middle of January however the position can start earlier if you are local to the area already.
There is a car for use on the property by the housekeeper for workplace errands
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Cooking meals for the family (Simple, healthy family meals with vegetarian options for one adult)
- Batch cooking
- Occasionally cooking for guests on the weekend
- Shopping (ordering online and going to local suppliers)
- Laundry and ironing
- Feeding pets (dogs, cat and peacock)
- Walking dogs
- Watering potted plants
- Ad hoc tasks as needed
Salary: £35,000 GPA plus depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours a week finishing at 8pm. Hours can be either split or start later in the day to work through 8 hours.
Days: 5 days on and 2 consecutive days off. Working over the weekend for the most part.

Accommodation: Beautiful detached accommodation suitable for one person and a dog. Contains En Suite and Kitchenette. Brand new refurbishment. Away from the main house and near a lovely forest walk. You will have a gated off garden that is suitable for one dog. OR Large space on the top floors with own bathroom and living room. Furnished to an excellent standard.
