Our client boasts a beautiful countryside resort in the south of France and they are looking for a passionate Head Chef to join their team. This beautiful venue has 50 chalets and a restaurant is the perfect high-end getaway for international and local guests alike being only one hours’ drive from Nice.
This role will begin in December when the current Head Chef will leave. You will be responsible for creating intricate, beautiful, Michelin guide standard meals for lunch and dinner, with the menu changing weekly.
As Head Chef you will:
Having knowledge of French will be a tremendous advantage
Be creative and show excellent attention to detail, delivering Michelin guide standard meals under all circumstances
Be able to work closely with your team members as this is a small brigade of two consisting of the Head Chef and Pastry Chef
The Restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday, serving lunch and dinner using fresh seasonal, local produce according to a menu consisting of two starters, two mains, and two desserts changing weekly
You will have strong menu development skills, able to come up with creative and delicious meals for the ever-changing menu
Have excellent Health & Safety and Hygiene knowledge
Chalet accommodation will be provided with all expenses included
