We are seeking a Junior Sous Chef for our client’s prestigious fine dining restaurant in their beautiful hotel in Mayfair. This is an ideal opportunity for a talented, senior Chef de Partie looking for their next career move forward.

As Junior Sous, you will have:

  • Have a solid background with experience in UK Fine Dining and an understanding of delivering exceptional standards of food

  • Be able to deliver consistently beautiful and delicious food throughout

  • Be able to work autonomously and part of a team and have the ability to use your own initiative in situations

  • Have a genuine passion for food and growing as a chef

  • Have excellent communication skills, being fluent in English, both written and spoken

  • Have natural leadership skills and be able to be an excellent example for other employees

  • A people’s person with an excellent ability to get on well with your team and ensure a positive working environment

  • Able to ensure that cleanliness and food safety is adhered at all times, HACCP Management

  • Have a good understanding of stock control and managing a kitchen

  • Be a creative, passionate chef ready to grow with a wonderful team


The working hours are: 48 hours based on rota

Salary: £26K, plus incentive (around £5k)

Starting date: ASAP
