Live in Couple Job, Hampshire

We have a great position for a flexible, energetic junior couple to join a busy shooting estate in Hampshire. You will be working alongside another couple and within a large existing team. The role is to predominately help with all areas of running a shoot season and support the family on a more personal level when required. The shoot season runs from September to January which will be a very busy period for the estate. Flexibility is a must as you will often be required to work late nights or early mornings, with varied days off during the week around the shoots. You will also be required to work in the main residence to help look after the family.

The day-to-day life for the principals is relatively informal, with 2 children at boarding school in the UK. The principals will host guests often, so a couple who ideally have a hospitality background would be preferred but not essential. The position may also include the opportunity to travel with the family to various destinations around the world.

Duties to include:

  • Housekeeping for all shoot cottages on the estate
  • Housekeeping for the main house
  • Laundry, linen, and ironing
  • Formal and informal service
  • Greeting and welcoming guests
  • Informal family cooking
  • Provisioning for the household
  • Exterior maintenance grounds care
  • Packing and unpacking luggage and
  • Additional duties required by the family
  • Driving family members to and from school, occasional airport trips
