Live In House Management Couple Job, Oxfordshire

A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Live in Couple for their busy family home.

The house is situated within acres of beautiful land in a rural location in the  countryside. This is a family of 7. The family do employ Nannies and additional housekeeping staff to support the couple and ensure the house is running smoothly at all times. The family are big "foodies" so are looking for one half the couple to ideally be a confident cook.  The family occasionally have more formal dinner parties to which their chef will cater on these occasions The family do have a large number of dogs that live at the property and have separate staff to care for them, the ideal candidates must be happy with dogs and happy to help if required. 

 The ideal candidates must be a competent Handyman and fix basic problems around the house and deal with systems. It is important to have great communication skills and be happy to deal with contractors. This role is best suited to a Couple who enjoy being in a busy family environment, it is very busy during the weekends, however they travel a lot in the school holidays so won't be in residence for periods of time.

Duties will include:

• Hands on cleaning, laundry and ironing to a high standard
• Good family cooking
• Oversee daily housekeepers
• Support the nannies when required
• General interior and exterior maintenance
• Overseeing contractors and suppliers
• Occasional driving duties to include local errands 
• Security of the house when the family are not in residence
• Front of House duties, meet and greet guests

Start: For the right couple

Working week: 5 days a week, flexible

Accommodation: 1 bedroom flat which is separate to the main house - All bills included 

Salary: Negotiable for the right couple

Drivers: Essential one to drive
