Live in Couple Job, Oxfordshire.

An opportunity has arisen for an energetic, proactive, and dedicated couple who are genuinely fond of children, dogs, cats, chickens, and country life to join a busy family in Oxfordshire

They are a fun and busy family with 4 school-age children (girl 16, boy 13 - weekly boarder, boy 8 - weekly boarder, boy 4 at school locally) and would love to find a long term couple to share the daily running of their beautiful home and gardens in the Cotswolds with their existing team.  It would be great if the couple were also happy to occasionally travel with the family.

Domestic responsibilities: 

  • Cleaning to a high standard throughout the home (alongside the existing housekeepers).
  • Laundry and ironing to include,
  • Wardrobe management
  • Care and cleaning of high-quality furnishings, fine art, and fabrics. 
  • Provisioning and household organisation and management
  • Kitchen support and informal service when the family entertain
  • Helping with planning family parties and entertaining
  • Occasionally cooking for the children
  • Occasional help with the children and babysitting (there is a weekly and weekend nanny).
  • Support with teenage/children’s activities
  • Occasionally babysitting
  • School runs, must be a confident driver
  • Help with caring for the family’s pets (2 small dogs, 2 cats, and chickens).
  • Pet sit when the family are away

Grounds/General Household responsibilities
As a Grounds and Maintenance person, you will be part of a team on the estate

  • Household maintenance and general handy work throughout the house and grounds.
  • Light gardening and assisting the gardener.
  • Looking after a fleet of cars
  • Driving the family
  • Liaising with security providers and monitoring systems.
  • Overseeing projects, building contractors and service providers alongside the existing team.
  • Pool maintenance alongside contractor and existing team
  • Machinery maintenance. alongside existing team
  • Support with teenage/children’s activities
  • Helping/serving when entertaining
  • Help with caring for the family pets (2 small dogs, 2 cats and chickens).
  • Pet sit, when the family are away

Start date: As soon as possible

Working week: 5 days, days off Wednesday and Thursday - (one weekend off in 6) 

Accommodation: Provided, either onsite or off. All bills included

Driving: Essential both are confident drivers

Salary: Within market rate and depending on experience.
