Head Housekeeper Job Cheshire
Our client is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join an existing team of staff to help run their family home which is also used for events.
The family are looking for a professional Housekeeper to fulfill all Household duties as well as manage the running of the accommodation and facilities associated with the events business. You will be a team player, be flexible and be happy to be "front of house" meeting and greeting guests. Although this is not a hotel, some experience within hospitality would be useful alongside working on a busy estate.
Duties will include:
Hands on cleaning, laundry and ironing as part of the housekeeping team
Experience with or the ability to learn about the care of fine fabrics and antiques
Managing change overs of guest accommodation and ensuring that the rooms are kept to a high standard
Supervise and manage the housekeeping team
Manage household stocks, health & safety, rotas, cleaning schedules and external contractors
Breakfast duties when guests relating to the event side of the business are in residence
The Housekeeper needs to be well presented, organised, flexible, be personable and be able to work as part of a team
This is a full-time role, normally over 5 days per week and including weekends during the busy events season
This is a live in role - partners welcome to follow own profession - separate 1 bed flat adjoining the main house, fully furnished and recently renovated. All bill paid by the employer - non-smokers only
