Live in Housekeeper / All-Rounder job in Jersey, Channel Islands  

Lovely family with 2 children is looking for an experienced hands-on housekeeper used to work in a large family home.  The role is mainly housekeeping but also to occasionally keep an eye on the children (A nanny is employed) and cook the occasional family meal.  Looking after the large home alongside another full-time housekeeper, artwork and fine furniture and keeping everything ticking over.  You must be animal friendly as they have 3 friendly dogs and other smaller pets.

We are looking for an all-rounder, someone who is vibrant, discrete, friendly, dependable, and proactive - who is a hard worker- takes pride in their work and is happy to be flexible. Ex- stew / Yachting background preferred but not essential. 

Jersey is an amazing location, it is known for its beaches, cliffside walking trails, inland valleys and historic castles. (There are very frequent flights to the UK, and tax is lower than mainland UK).

Duties

• Hands on Housekeeping, Cleaning, and tidying to a high standard,
• Laundry, Washing and Ironing.
• Cooking for the family on occasion, (They enjoy simple healthy family style meals).
• Occasional household and food shopping (Most shopping is delivered)
• Running errands
• Dealing with contractors and maintenance team

Driving essential, ideally have own car but a car may be provided if needed for work purposes.  

No partners or pets can be accommodated. 

Hours Mon-Fri, 5days per week, 8.30 - 5.30pm + Overtime (Paid) approx. 40 hours per week with flexibility  

Accommodation 1 bed self-contained flat (Presently in the main house however from July accommodation  will be in a separate building)

Salary £38- 40k Gross per annum
