Live in Housekeeper / Cook required near Braintree Essex Start ASAP Salary £30k Gross per annum (Please note Council tax and utilities are not paid for and will be in the region £2,000 - 2,500 PA)
Lovely couple with 3 friendly Labrador Dogs need a switched on all-rounder for their beautiful large 7 bed home. We need someone who is experienced, practical and able to take over the running of the house and keep it neat ,clean and tidy. Working alongside other staff including a daily cleaner who comes 5 days a week and gardeners. The role would suit someone who is practical,has a friendly personality and a self-starter.
Duties to include
- Hands on Housekeeping, Cleaning , Washing and Ironing
- Cooking for the couple- this will generally be the main evening meal- they enjoy well cooked simple cuisine. Also to cater occasional dinner parties for 6-12
- Answering the telephone and taking messages
- Helping with the 3 Labradors
- House and pet sitting when the family are away
- Evening turn down
Partners and pets will be considered.
Driving essential , Must have own car for social use but car provided for work purposes
Hours 5 days, 40 hours Days off during the week ( Usually Tues & Wednesday) 9-3 then 5.30-7pm
Accommodation Self contained 2 bed house recently renovated.
