Live in Nanny


Family based in New York in the SOHO area downtown are looking to hire a new Nanny to care for their two children a girl of 3 and a boy of 5years old.

This is a role for a nanny who has recently qualified at Montessori level or recently just left Chiltern or Norland and would like to start their international career with a wonderful family in New York. Mum and Dad are professionals and looking for a kind, nurturing, energetic and high energy individual who will be able to entertain their children when they are not in nursery, playing games, making arts and crafts.


You have a housekeeper who will induct and support you in the first few weeks with nannies who have worked for the family in the past. You will need to be happy to learn new surroundings, learn to travel on the subway to take the children to school and activities.


A visa scheme would be put in place for potential candidates who quality to support them in this application.


The family are going to be in London the last week of June and could possibly interview you in London if a skype interview goes well.


The role:


  • Monday to Friday

  • Nursery duties

  • Care and well-being of the children

  • Activities and social calendar organising

  • Trouble shooting and proxy parenting


The candidate:


  • English speaking to fluent level

  • Experienced with lots of common sense

  • Resilient

  • Being a driver is helpful but not a requirement


Accommodation: Your own room and bathroom you share with the children

Salary: competitive and negotiable for the right candidate based on experience
