An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing & Business Development Manager for a unique recruitment agency who provide high quality, domestic, childcare and catering staff to high net worth individuals for their private households and also have a growing business in catering & hospitality recruitment.   

You will be reporting into the Managing Director, who requires someone to take the lead on business development and marketing initiatives for the company which has grown significantly from 15 to 50 staff over a 6 year period.  There head office is based in Parsons Green, with two additional offices in the North of England and Scotland. 

You will be responsible for supporting 8 Managers and their teams to align their Business Development and Marketing activities and ensure plans are delivered in a timely, consistent and efficient manner and assisting the MD to deliver the Business Development programme.  Relevant industry experience is not necessary (would be useful) but be able to demonstrate experience of initiating and implementing ideas successfully to the management team and ensure there is a consistent message regarding the company’s vision, mission, values and USP’s to their clients and candidates.

The key tasks Marketing and Business Development tasks within the role are:

  • Meeting company’s business objectives and working with individual Sector Managers and Managing Director to drive top line growth

  • Assisting in development of a strategic Marketing and Business Development strategy and plan in line with the 5 year plan

  • Responsible for the marketing budget

  • Drive the company’s brand awareness through creative communication including digital marketing, direct marketing using internal and external sources which will enhance client development and candidate attraction

  • Proactively creating business development opportunities, including researching client and target activity and understanding the current market trends in the recruitment sector

  • Harnessing cross selling opportunities wherever possible

  • Managing the requirements for all marketing materials including collateral and creating new brochures enhancing the brand awareness

  • Championing specific campaigns i.e. Open Days, Job Fairs, Seminars

  • Assisting the Operations Manager with the website and initiating content to enhance SEO



Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good commercial awareness, business acumen showing a proven track record of being creative.  Previous experience in a marketing environment is essential.  Will suit someone who is keen to progress with a growing company – a background in recruitment though not essential or worked in a luxury brand with experience of HNW clients would be an asset. 



As well as a competitive salary the successful candidate will also receive:

  • Year end bonus depending on company performance

  • 20 days holiday (increasing to 25 days after 2 years) with 3 extra at Christmas
