Nanny / Groom / Housekeeper Job York North Yorkshire

(56376) Have you had previous experience working with children and horses and enjoy working in the country side – this could be the ideal position for you.

Our client is looking for an experienced candidate for a mixed and varied role which would cover hands on childcare, and either housekeeping, working with the horses or a mix of both. As the role will be a mix of sole and shared charge as well as some proxy parenting for a girl aged 3.5, you will need to have had some professional childcare experience, ideally as a Nanny although good experience in a Nursery background would also be considered. The role is based in a village between Harrogate and York so you must be happy to work in the countryside and also have experience with horses and dogs.

The former farm is home to two business for mum and dad, one being Equestrian based so if you had experience with horses and were happy to take on some Groom duties this could be an option or possibly Housekeeping.

The role is going to be full-time and the hours will be flexible normally over Monday to Friday with some help on weekends (including 1.5 days per month on average Proxy Parenting). The little girl is at nursery 3 days per week during term time and will be at full-time school come September 2020 hence this being a mixed role.

The most important thing to the family is that the candidate is the right fit for the home and wider farm businesses so they are flexible and open minded on how the role will work exactly and more focussed on finding the right person, around which the role can be moulded.

This role can be offered on a live in or live out basis – separate flat provided on site if required.

£salary negotiable based on the experience of the candidate
