RESORT MANAGER

 

A high end luxury operator based in the 3 valleys are looking for someone with previous Resort Management experience to lead their team to success.

 

You’ll be liaising with the Operations Manager of the company to ensure smooth running of all operations within resort, including accounts, staff management and guest liaison.

 

This role requires experience from candidates who have progressed throughout their career in the Luxury Alpine industry ranging from Resort / Chalet Management, Resort Rep, Chalet Host/chef.

 

Main responsibilities;

  • Ensure Company Standards are trained and maintained

  • Adhere to and manage budgets

  • Manage and conduct pre arrival concierge services for all bookings

  • Maintaining an efficient working relationship with the head office (Bookings, HR, Sales)

  • Delivering accurate company accounts for all resort finances, including expenditure, invoicing, chalet budgets and any guest expenditure on extras bought in resort.

  • Effective staff management; Rotas, adhering to French compliance of hours worked, Staff welfare, motivation, appraisals/disciplinary and liaising with HR for recruitment if needed

  • Organise resort transfers for guests’ arrivals and departures.

  • Guest concierge services; Lift pass, Ski rentals, restaurant bookings, Group and Private Ski School bookings.

 

Character Profile

  • Resort-management experience within luxury industry

  • Problem Solving attitude

  • Maintain calm under pressure

  • Proficient French Language skills

  • Passion for Alpine culture

  • British issued National Insurance Number

  • Full clean driving license
