Greycoat Lumley’s are seeking a Senior Events Sales Manager for our regular client who are a Top Events Company in North London. Best known for the finest parties and events in London, you will be working alongside the Sales and Events Team, with your own portfolio of venues, agents and clients, building and maintaining excellent corporate business relationships.



About the Role:

  • Senior Events Sales Manager for a top Events Company, catering and delivering some of London’s finest parties for an enviable list of Corporate, Luxury Brands, Show-Biz, Charity Events and Private Clients in equally enviable iconic and unique London Venues.

  • Reporting directly to the Sales Director, working alongside our highly attentive, motivated, and creative sales and events production team.

  • Cocktail Allowance to get you started, building strong business relationships




About You:

  • You will need to show great communication and organization skills, be motivated and out-going, and have a willingness to deliver the best, ensuring excellent customer service and event quality is delivered, exceeding the expectations of our clients

  • A passion for food, parties, events, London events and London itself is a MUST

  • Able to show a proven track record of maintaining and delivering targets – you will deliver business revenue targets circa £750,000 with a 35% GP

  • Always be on the look-out for new business opportunities and sales leads

  • Participation in strategy meetings with the sales team and be able to advise and assist junior members’ of the team

  • Able to contribute to business development strategy with the sales and marketing directors

  • Efficient ongoing meeting arrangement and planning with clients

  • Be able to prepare and submit formal business tenders and proposals

  • UVL Experience is a must

  • Able to monitor sales data and account performance

  • Devise an on budget client entertaining schedule with strong ROI

  • You will source props, costumes and bespoke event design items

  • Must be proficient in MS Office, particularly Power Point & Excel

  • Have proven experience in another top London catering or event planning company where you have exceeded your targets, with an excellent knowledge of the London events and venue scene

  • Excellent ability to meet deadlines and go above and beyond expectations



Salary: £40,000 + Bonus

Predominantly Monday to Friday with some evening work, and very seldom weekends.

CRM Training will be provided.
