A brilliant 3 Rosette restaurant on the west coast of Scotland is looking for a Sous Chef to start ASAP.  This luxury hotel benefits from being a member of the Relais et Chateaux group as well as having a dining room with 3 AA Rosettes, and being set in a gorgeous location.  The restaurant is re-opening at the end of April and ideally would love the new Sous Chef to be in place by then! This is a great opportunity to work with a Chef, who loves ingredients and flavour and is a calming influence on the kitchen!  It's a small boutique style hotel with eleven bedrooms, which ensures that every guest has a personalised and warm interaction with the staff and hotel, with many returning year on year.  This role is to start ASAP and accommodation is provided, which makes it a very appealing opportunity, particularly in this market.

The role:

  • Working closely with the Head Chef to run the kitchen
  • Managing the rest of the team - CDPs and Commis Chef
  • Working to a 3AA Rosette standard consistently
  • Menu planning, ordering and stock control
  • Running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
