From corporate dinners, private celebrations and weddings, this company offers a unique and creative service to every client.
The Company have a variety of seasonal menus that hold true to their food philosophy that is to source high quality, fresh and seasonal produce tracing its journey from farm to plate.
As a Sous Chef your main responsibility is to support the Senior Chefs in leading the brigade, whilst maintaining excellent standards of food presentation.
Part of the role of Sous Chef is to develop the junior Chefs with training and support, whilst ensuring the kitchen reaches all health & safety requirements
Most importantly our Sous Chefs should be energetic with a passion to do a great job, and have a can do attitude with natural leadership and motivational skills
Successful candidate would have:
Previous banqueting, fine dining or event - Either Michelin* or Rosette Restaurant , Fine dining restaurant , Event company or 5* Hotel
At least 5 year of experience in professional kitchen
Great attention to details and ability to manage a team
Well organized and able to work well within large team (perm and tem chefs) and used to large volume
Someone with a proven track record working within similar establishments.
A driven Sous Chef who is looking to fine tune their skills and step up quickly to sous chef.
Someone who is not only flexible but fully understands the business and is aware what is needed successfully run Event Career company
Working hours: Monday to Friday – 07:00 – 16:30 (Finish time may change depending from number of events for particular week)
Salary: £35,000 per annum (depending on experience) + paid overtime
