Live in Couple Job in Kent

A fantastic opportunity to work for a lovely family who live on a beautiful estate in Kent. They have 3 girls aged 13, 16 & 18 years who are at boarding school during the week. Completing the family are 2 dogs.

The main property is a 7 bedroom contemporary house that sits on 13 acres

Also employed on the estate are a team of gardeners. 

Duties include but not limited to:

  • All housework to a high standard including daily and deep cleaning (two of the bedrooms are guest rooms and not used regularly)

  • Laundry and ironing, including wardrobe management

  • Helping prepare meals / simple family cooking, is a bonus, but not essential

  • Helping /serving when entertaining

  • Pet care (some dog walking and looking after the dogs when the family are away)

  • Driving duties (airport and school runs etc)

  • Vehicle maintenance

  • Dealing with contractors and tradespeople

  • Garden maintenance (lawn mowing, strimming, trimming, watering. etc)

  • Tennis Court and Swimming pool maintenance

  • ‘Handyman’ extras such as light bulb changing, chopping firewood, leaf blowing, raking leaves etc

  • Security of the property

  • Housesitting (staying in the main property when the family are away to look after the dogs)

  • The ideal couple would be flexible, easy going, good communicators, discreet and dog friendly.  

Drivers Ideally both to drive

Accommodation: newly refurbished 1 bedroom cottage with a small garden. Bills included. Well behaved pets might be considered.

Start date: Flexible for the right couple

Working Days: 5 days per week, including weekends. When the family are away, you can take weekends off.

Salary: £70,000 gpa combined, negotiable for the right couple
