Live out Head Groundsman / Gardener Job in Essex

This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable, hardworking Head Groundsman / Gardener to manage and improve a beautiful 45 acres estate in Essex. You will be working  closely with the estate manager and managing two Groundsmen.

Your duties will involve:

  • All aspects of parkland maintenance
  • Gardening, including project management and implementation. 
  • Managing two groundsmen
  • Use of garden machinery

You must have a strong parkland and horticulture focus, plant knowledge, practical skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience in working on a private estate.  A proven track record in a leadership role would be advantageous.

Full clean driving licence required.

Working Days: Monday to Friday. Occasional weekends will be required. 

Hours: 8am - 4.30pm

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 gross per annum, depending on experience

Start: June ideally but flexible for the right candidate

DBS and NDA will be required.
