After-School Nanny – Queen’s Park,

A lovely family in Queen’s Park is looking for a compassionate, creative, and playful after-school nanny to care for their two children — a 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy — on a sole-charge basis.
The girl is academic and loves drama; the family would love a nanny who can encourage her to play and express herself more creatively. The boy is bright and energetic. The nanny should be patient, calm, and able to provide gentle structure and support.
Responsibilities:
- School pick-ups and supervising homework (especially reading and writing)
- Encouraging play, creativity, and fun after-school activities
- Coordinating playdates and taking children to extracurricular activities
- Communicating with parents and maintaining routines
- Providing two nights of babysitting per week
Role Details:
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Additional: Two babysitting evenings per week
- Half Term: Approx. 50% of the usual schedule
- Guaranteed Hours: 18–20 hours per week, paid year-round
- Driver: A bonus, but not essential
- French: A plus, but not required
- Cooking/Laundry: Not required – the family has a housekeeper
- Salary: £23 gross per hour/ 23,920 gross per year
This is a wonderful role for a nurturing and organized nanny who can balance structure with creativity. A musical or artsy personality would be a lovely bonus for this engaging and supportive household.
