Chauffeur Job- London- Full-Time
Job Overview:
A diplomatic mission is seeking a professional chauffeur to support senior officials in London. This is a full-time role that involves driving senior staff members, visiting officials, and providing general logistical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the Head of Mission to official meetings and events
- Provide transport for other staff members and official visitors as needed
- Run occasional errands between the office and the official residence
- Deliver documents to government departments, official bodies, or other diplomatic missions
- Provide transport for a family member if required
- Assist with logistical support including errands and similar tasks
- Ensure that official vehicles are clean, fuelled, and well-maintained at all times
- Arrange and monitor routine vehicle maintenance and servicing
- Report any vehicle issues promptly
Working Conditions:
- Standard weekday hours, with some flexibility required for occasional weekend or after-hours duties (compensated with time off in lieu)
- Possibility of occasional overnight travel; expenses covered
- One meal provided per day during working hours
Vehicles:
- The role involves operating two official vehicles: a BMW Saloon and a BMW X3
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence
- Experience driving in London and familiarity with local traffic regulations
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and discretion
- Strong time management and organizational skills
Desirable:
- Experience in security or defensive driving
- Spanish language skills (not required, but considered an asset)
