We’re seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join a high-performing kitchen team within a premium countryside hospitality destination. Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations & Team Support
• Prepare and cook dishes to consistently high standards
• Support and guide junior chefs during service
• Participate in daily kitchen briefings and team communication
• Help uphold a positive, collaborative, and quality-driven kitchen culture
Menu & Culinary Contribution
• Assist in the creation of innovative, seasonal dishes
• Maintain strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety
• Support accurate recipe execution and portion consistency
• Contribute ideas that reflect the venue’s connection to the land and produce
Operational Standards
• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of all dishes
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and workstation readiness
• Follow established SOPs to ensure efficiency and consistency
• Work effectively under pressure during busy service periods
Health, Safety & Hygiene
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards
• Support daily and weekly cleaning routines
• Maintain kitchen practices in line with regulatory guidelines
Team Development
• Collaborate closely with peers to share knowledge and support learning
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
• Participate in a culture of growth, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Performance Indicators

What We're Looking For
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Chef de Partie or strong Commis role
• Strong culinary technique and understanding of food safety
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for high-quality, seasonal food
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail
