Private Michelin-Level Chef – Monaco

A private household in Monaco is seeking an experienced Michelin-level Chef to join on a permanent basis. The family requires a highly skilled, flexible, and passionate chef who can deliver exceptional cuisine while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen. The Cnaidte must be already be local to the Monaoc area and have their own form of transport and accommodation as the role is live out. It's best if the Candidate has a good network of local suppliers. 

Key Requirements:

  • Culinary expertise: Michelin-level training and experience highly advantageous.

  • Cuisine focus: Mediterranean cuisine with a southern French emphasis.

  • Cultural influences: Knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine is advantageous.

  • Dietary restrictions: The candidate should have ample experience to be able to work with various dietary restrictions

  • Experience: Proven ability to adapt to family preferences and maintain discretion.

Responsibilities:

  • Cooking primarily for family members (between 1–3 people daily).

  • Preparing meals for household staff.

  • Ensuring the kitchen is maintained to immaculate standards at all times.

  • Creating varied, seasonal menus tailored to preferences.

  • Occasional travel within Europe (1–2 weeks maximum).

Candidate Profile:

  • Energetic, adaptable, and not work-shy – someone who takes pride in their craft.

  • Excellent organisational skills with a focus on hygiene and presentation.

  • Flexible and discreet – not a "clock watcher".

  • Professional and committed, with the ability to work independently.
