Cook/Butler Job
A Cook/Butler is needed for a gentleman in his beautiful apartment house in Knightsbridge and on the farm in Kent
When the gentleman entertains he usually hires a party planner and decorator , part of this role will be for you to organise any dinners or parties and take the organisation away from the client.
The principals company has to entertain clients, press, staff and others from all around the world. This candidate must be able to arrange last-minute breakfasts, lunches, teas, dinners as and when required. The events need to be special and have a touch of ‘je ne sais quoi’
This role would suit someone who is polished, artistic and creative along with bringing all the usual butler skills to the table.
The client also has a house in Kent which you maybe be required to visit from time to time. (Accommodation will be provided in Kent)
Duties involved
Probably around 4 or 5 ‘events’ each week that may be breakfasts or lunches or teas or dinners.
Drinks service
Silver service at formal dinners
Event organasation
Light cleaning
Cooking to high standards
Front of house duties I am not sure that these will necessarily be required.
Salary - £55K - £60K gpa
5 day working week But not necessarily Monday to Friday.
They will have plenty of spare time as the principal is often abroad.
