Couple Job in the Dumfries area of Scotland

Greycoat Lumley's client are seeking an experienced Couple for their property in the Dumfries area of Scotland.  Surrounded by beautiful countryside and a wonderful sense of local community the location is perfect for a rural loving Couple.  There are local villages close by to visit and for supplies.

The Principals are in part time residence, the number of visits per year can vary.  The current Couple have been there for a number of years

Duties Include:

  • Housekeeping

  • Laundry

  • Ironing

  • Cooking for the family and guests - help is on offer for larger parties if required 

  • Occasional service may be required

  • Gardening - sole charge

  • Property maintenance

  • Car maintenance 

  • Driving - including airport runs and to London

  • Responsible for bees and chickens at the property

The Couple must be self starters and able to manage and prioritise their workload.

This role will suit a Couple with a Hospitality background.

Accommodation:  Private cottage on the grounds.  Pets welcome within reason. Utility bills are covered by the Estate

Salary:  £65,000 to £75,000 GPA depending on experience
