Greycoat Lumley’s client are seeking a Couple for their Private Estate in the Dumfries area of Scotland. The property is their main residence but they do travel with business a lot of the time. The Principals have had Couples in the past who have all stayed with them for a number of years and have enjoyed working for them, they insist on confidentiality and discretion but are very welcoming.
The Gardener/Groundsman will need a sound knowledge of plants and trees. The gardens are approximately 4 acres. There is a large area of lawn, flower beds, hedges and woodland.
The principals are happy to use contractors for any more tasking jobs or those which require specialized equipment.
Duties will include:
- Leaf blowing
- Log splitting
- Moving is mainly done by robots
- Strimming
- Weeding
- Machinery maintenance
The Housekeeper will be responsible for:
- Housekeeping (8 bedrooms)
- Tidying
- Notifying the Principals of general maintenance needs of the property
Start: June 2024
Salary: £60,000 GPA
Accommodation: 2 bedroom lodge, package includes Council Tax and Utility Bills
