Couple Job

Private Household Couple - Switzerland & France - Competitive Salary. 

Greycoat Lumleys are delighted to be seeking a suitable Domestic couple to work for a private family between Switzerland and France. The role will include travel to each destination to assist in all private service for the family.

The family already employ other Housekeepers and one other Domestic couple.

Daily duties will include the following 

For Her:

• House cleaning

• Laundry

• Ironing

• VIP wardrobe care

• Knowledge of the Laurastar steam generator is advantageous

• Care of all types of surfaces

• Familiarity with modern household appliances and cleaning products

• Dog care (we have two German Shepherds)

For Him:

• Family driver with fluent knowledge of typical navigation systems and Google Maps

• Car cleaning

• House maintenance and minor repairs

• Supervision of technicians and service providers

• Grocery shopping

• Maintenance of the garden and surrounding area

• Dog care 

Requirements

• European documents/work permit

• Driving license for the EU/Switzerland

• Languages: English or Russian (German or French is a plus)

• No allergies to dogs and advantageous to have familiarity with handling them (two black German Shepherds are part of the household)

Accommodation

Switzerland: You may live in a flat with two separate bedrooms, one of which is occupied by another couple working at the villa. The flat is minimally furnished but has a fully equipped kitchen. Apartment in Wädenswil ZH has one bathroom and one kitchen (shared with another couple if both couples are in Wädenswil ZH). Washing machines are shared and located on the ground floor of the building. The flat is a 15- minute walk from the villa, and a bicycle can be provided.

France: A small studio will be provided during your stay. It includes cooking facilities, a washing machine, furniture, and internet access. Located on the Villa territory.

Working Hours

Switzerland: You will work 5 days a week, with 2 days off determined by the employer. The working day is 8 hours, according to the employer's schedule. Possible overtime will be compensated with additional rest time or otherwise as agreed with the employer.

France: You will work 6 days a week from June to the end of September. Compensation for the additional workdays will be discussed separately, potentially resulting in fewer working days in Zurich.

Additional Information

• Smoking is prohibited on the villa premises.

• Consumption of alcohol on working days and use of narcotic drugs are strictly prohibited.

• A work uniform will be provided by the employer.

Salary: CHF 6,000 Gross per person per month per person
