Daily Housekeeper Job - Nr Skelton York North Yorkshire - start asap - full-time - £30,000+ GPA depending on experience and hours worked
Our client is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to look after a large family home near Skelton. The family home is a large period property and is a house to a family of 2 adults and 4 older children.
The main focus of this role will be keeping the house clean and well organised at all times and generally keeping the home running smoothly.
The client is ideally looking for someone who can cover 6 days per week including some hours on a Saturday but this is not essential. If you can cover a regular Saturday then this role could total 40 hours per week but if you just wanted to work Monday to Friday then the client would be looking for someone to work 6-7 hours per day. If the candidate does only work Monday to Friday then flexibility will still be needed to work occasional weekends. The salary will reflect the hours worked.
Duties will include:
Hands on cleaning - following a weekly routine
Bed making
Household laundry and taking care with washing, ironing and wardrobe management
Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, emptying the dish washer
Answering the phone and intercom
Dealing with trades and contractors
Shopping and running errands
The candidate needs to have attention to detail, be proactive and have very high standards of cleaning.
