Gardener / Handyperson Job - Nr Altrincham Cheshire - May 2026 start - £35,000+ GPA

Our client is looking for an experienced Gardener to take on a hands on role looking after a family home and private garden near Altrincham.  

The Gardener / Handyperson will be looking after private grounds including 5 acres of mixed formal and informal gardens including lawns, herbaceous borders, glass house, raised beds and woodland.  You will also be required to cover general property maintenance.

Duties will include:

  • General Maintenance Gardening - weeding, mowing, pruning, hedge cutting and watering
  • Coordinating contract gardeners
  • General Property maintenance both inside and out
  • Clearing leaves, jet washing paths, fence painting
  • To help with driving all members of the family and keep the household vehicles well maintained

Full-time role normally Monday to Friday with some flexibility on weekends

Start May 2026

£35,000+ GPA depending on experience
