Live-in Head Butler / Villa Manager opportunity UHNW family in Beautiful Tuscany, Italy
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Time Resident Head Butler to join our clients team in Tuscany, Italy. As a key member of the estate management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of their stunning property, providing exceptional service to our family and guests.
Duties:
Meet and greet guests upon arrival, ensuring they are settled in their rooms
Carry luggage for guests and assist with their needs
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all spirits, wine, and cigar collections
Serve meals and pour drinks for guests, anticipating their needs and preferences
Supervise the housekeeping team and ensure rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards
Care for clothing, silver, crystals, and other estate assets
Set up for afternoon tea and cigar lounge services
Communicate with housekeepers to ensure rooms are cleaned at convenient times
Recommend and arrange amenities for guests
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Ensure compliance with estate policies on safety and hygiene
Perform duties with discretion, professionalism, and a pleasant demeanor
Pet care for a one medium sized dog
Requirements:
Fluency in Italian & English is required
Experience as a Butler or similar role in the 5* hospitality industry is essential
Strong multi-tasking skills, excellent organization, and ability to adapt to a fluid environment.
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Attention to detail, ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion, and knowledge of food and wine pairings
Must be “tech” savvy with better than average IT skills
Must be a Driver
Excellent references and a valid Background check (Advanced DBS or equivalent)
Benefits:
Salary: approximately €70,000 to €100,000 per annum gross
Holidays: 26 days per annum plus National holidays
Accommodation: Separate flat on the side of the main residence, 1 bedroom, kitchen, sitting room and 2 bathrooms, strictly no dependents or pets
