A fantastic opportunity to work in the heart of central London, for a busy and vibrant leading company. In this Head Chef role you will be leading a team of 3 chefs and 2 Kitchen Porters and developing and delivering the food offering, using the very best ingredients and modern styles, for:

The Role:
Implement and maintain standards for food production, development and chef behaviours on site.
Deliver craft-based training and mentoring to the team.
Drive sales and profitability through implementing both individual and food-team initiatives.
Ensure a clean, safe and compliant working environment.
Ensure standards for food presentation are maintained at all times.
Ensure food policy and strategy in areas such as allergen management are implemented and followed and food safety is proactively managed across the business.
Support sales activities, external / internal client events and industry events.
Attend operations meetings as required.
Attend client meetings as and when required and support proactive client relationships.
Support the interviewing and appointment of kitchen team members with the Site Manager.

Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Technically proficient and qualified to an industry-recognised standard.
Level 3 Food Hygiene qualified as a minimum.
Demonstrate excellence, breadth of experience and relevant work history across a range of environments.
Solid understanding of the requirements menu management within different operational and commercial contractual models.
Good numeracy skills, financially aware and able to work within budget.
Good oral and written language skills.
Good presentation skills.
Health and Safety:
Follow Company policies and procedures at all times.
Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
Report any issues or training needs to your line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
