Full time Household Assistant Job, Chelsea.

A highly accomplished CEO and mother of four is seeking a proactive and highly organised Household Assistant to support both her private household and selected professional responsibilities.

This is a junior-to-mid level opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in private household and executive support. The role blends hands-on household coordination with administrative assistance across selected business matters.

The successful candidate will help create structure, calm, and operational efficiency within a dynamic, child-centred home while also gaining exposure to corporate processes and executive-level support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Private Household & Family Support
  • Assist in coordinating day-to-day household operations
  • Liaise with household staff (nannies, tutors, housekeepers, drivers)
  • Help manage schedules for four children (school, activities, appointments)
  • Support event planning (birthdays, holidays, guests)
  • Track expenses, invoices, and basic household budgeting
  • Assist with vendor coordination and service appointments
  • Help ensure the home environment runs smoothly and proactively
  • Calendar & Travel Coordination
  • Support management of the Principal’s personal calendar
  • Assist in aligning family and professional commitments
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel logistics
  • Prepare itineraries, confirmations, and travel documentation
  • Executive & Administrative Support
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support for meetings and projects
  • Assist with preparing briefing documents and follow-up actions
  • Help coordinate communications with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support personal administration tasks (appointments, documentation, filings)

The ideal candidate will be child friendly, experienced with working within a family environment and private household, with a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience. This is the perfect role for someone who is highly organised, with a strong attention to detail and someone who is emotionally intelligent and self-motivated. This a great opportunity for a candidate who is eager to grow into a more senior support role over time.
