Housekeeper Job, Edinburgh

Greycoat Lumley's client is seeking an experienced Housekeeper for their home in the centre of Edinburgh.  The role is to ensure the smooth running of the private home.

Duties:

  • Housekeeping

  • Laundry

  • Ironing

  • Running errands

  • Taking delivery of online shopping

  • Looking after the cat – feeding, cleaning out litter try etc.

  • Duties given from a daily list by the Principal 

These days and hours are standard however if there are guests arriving extra hours will be required and if the Principal is away, the cat will need to be looked after each day.  Any periods of time the Principal is not home, the housekeeper will be required to look after the cat – these dates will be advised in advance.  Communication with the principal will mainly be by text message.

Days:  Monday to Friday

Hours:  You will be paid for full time hours but work shorter days Tuesday/Wednesday and Thursday

Hourly rate:  £15 to £20 per hour (excellent annual agreed salary)

Start:  ASAP
