Live Out Housekeeper Job near Alton
Our clients are seeking a live-out housekeeper for their beautiful 8 bedroom residence near Alton. There are 3 school aged children who live at the property but a full time Nanny looks after their needs. The household has a dog and two cats with some outside farm animals too. You will also need to be comfortable with animals in the house and occasionally cleaning up after the internal animals.
The housekeeper should be someone who takes pride in keeping a house very neat and ordered. Experience caring for high end surfaces and fine fabrics is essential. The right housekeeper will be friendly, easy going and flexible in their approach.
The Duties will include:
General tidying and cleaning of the property
Laundry, ironing and simple wardrobe management
Stocktaking and shopping for basic household items
Grocery shopping
Any additional errands
Cooking and PA skills as a bonus
As a bonus, if the candidate is a good cook and enjoys cooking healthy meals, the client may consider getting in a part time cleaner so that the housekeeper can focus on cooking meals for the family. Good IT and administration skills would also be a bonus.
You need to be proactive, self-motivated and able to take ownership of the role, being responsible for and running the house when the principals are away. You will need to be a team player, working seamlessly with other staff members.
Driving essential, Must have own car in order to get to the property
Hours: 40 hours a week
Start: February 2024, however an earlier start can be arranged
Working 5 days a week Monday to Friday
Salary: £35,000 to £37,500 depending on experience
