Housekeeper Job - Daily full-time - Nr Oswestry, North Shropshire - £30,000 to £35,000 gpa doe
A unique opportunity for a hardworking and passionate individual to work for a lovely young family on a compact picturesque estate near Oswestry and Ellesmere. The property is a 9 bedroom historic hall, set in approximately 300 acres.
The role is offered on a full time, permanent contract basis, with standard hours of 48 per week all year round however, flexibility is essential.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, resilient, very hardworking, trustworthy, practical, enthusiastic, and cheerful, possess a can-do attitude and common sense.
The applicant must be able to fulfil a variety of roles
Housekeeper/Cleaner:
Previous experience in a private household
Housekeeping and home management
Excellent time management skills
Must have previous experience working in a similar role and be adaptable and flexible to changing schedules
The housekeeper must have a pleasant attitude and like interacting with guests
Cleaning to a very high standard, including supervision of part-time support cleaners
Excellent attention to detail and due care for quality furniture and fabrics
Experience maintaining and cleaning a property with lots of objects
Excellent laundry skills including handling delicate garments such as wool and cashmere, hand-washing and ironing making sure all personal laundry is washed, ironed and stored in the correct manner
Wardrobe management
Food shopping for the household
Taking in deliveries and unpacking groceries
Management and ordering of pantry and basic stores
Family level cooking from time to time
Positive attitude and disposition
Cleaning and arranging guest rooms and Air BnB property located within the grounds
Schedule of deep cleans to property
Occasional travel with family to UK holiday home
Occasional babysitting may be required
Dealing with contractors and deliveries
Running errands
Assisting with waiting on duties at family parties

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum
21 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays
48 hrs per week (Some flexibility may be required)
Hours of work (typically) 7.45am – 5.30pm (45 mins for lunch)
