Live out Part Time Housekeeper near Godalming
A lovely couple in a beautiful 5 bedroom house is looking for a new housekeeper to replace their beloved long term Housekeeper. The residence houses two adults and their elderly cats. Occasionally they have their adult children come to stay.
The role is a traditional housekeeper/ cleaner role with cleaning, washing, ironing and changing of bed linens. The house contains some antiques, marble and wooden floors so knowledge of cleaning is important.
There is a gardener/ caretaker who lives on site so no house or pet sitting is required, however when the family is away this will be the time when the housekeeper can do a thorough deep clean.
The right candidate will be a hard-working, and self-sufficient individual with a genuine love of putting things into order.
The duties will include:
Cleaning, tidying
Changing bed linens
Washing and ironing
Pet care and occasional pet sitting (very rarely)
Occasional cooking
Running errands
Driving is essential as the place is hard to get to. There is a car available for running errands.
Start: Dec/Jan
Hours: 20 to 25 hours a week
Days: The client is somewhat flexible with days
Salary: £18 to £19 gph
