Greycoat Lumley's client is seeking a Live In or Live Out Housekeeper for their home in County Kerry, Ireland. The Principals live in the property on a part time basis and visit either on their own, or with extended family or friends. There is one main house and several other buildings where guests stay.
There is a chef who visits the property when the Principals are in residence. The chef will require assistance when there are 6 or more people dining. There is a kitchen garden at the property. The family visit mainly in the summer (approx. 2 months), Autumn (1 week) and Christmas. There is also a part time cleaner at the property when there are the Principals or guests in residence.
Duties Include:
Greeting guests
Housekeeping
Laundry
Ironing
Making cups of tea
Making cooked Irish breakfast
Preparing sandwiches and salads when chef is not there
Errands
Grocery shopping
There is a strong team dynamic at the estate and applicants must be a team player and must be flexible in their approach.
Discretion and confidentiality is important.
As the Housekeeper will be representing the household they must be warm and approachable, they must cater for the guests in a professional manner.
