Housekeeper or Couple – Full-Time Position (Accommodation Provided) Kildare, Ireland
Greycoat Lumley’s client is seeking a trustworthy, proactive Housekeeper or Professional Couple to support the smooth running, upkeep, and day-to-day management of a private residence. This full-time role suits individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards and enjoy a blend of housekeeping, cooking, and property care for a family.
The location is within 30 minutes of Dublin, in a peaceful rural setting close to a bus route—offering countryside living with quick access to city amenities. A highly desirable location to live in.
Key Responsibilities
General housekeeping
Laundry, Ironing
Running household errands (shopping, collections, deliveries etc.)
Family cooking, including healthy everyday meals and batch cooking for the freezer
Picking up children – childcare on occasion
Overseeing team members ensuring a smooth workflow
Keeping machinery/vehicles fuelled (diesel) and clean
Maintaining driveways, gateways, and access areas
Keeping workshop areas tidy and well organised
Local deliveries and collections for machinery parts and supplies
Van/light truck/trailer licences (beneficial but not essential)
Lawn mowing and edging, weed control - ensuring robotic lawnmowers are in ordering order
Leaf blowing
Pruning hedges/plants
Cleaning gutters; checking drains and roof gullies
Checking and cleaning security cameras
Small-scale painting/touch-ups
Applicants must be discreet, trustworthy, and reliable. This is a long-term role and will suit candidates who are looking for longevity and job security.
This role can also be live out.
Salary:
Housekeeper: €40,000 gross per year
Couple: €80,000 gross per year (combined)
Accommodation: 2 bedroom cottage, renovated with modern interior - rent free
