Housekeeper / House Manager Job - Nr Skipton North Yorkshire - start ASAP - Live In 3 bed accommodation - £40,000 to £45.000 GPA

A rural estate in North Yorkshire, consisting of an 11-bedroom private household that includes a pool, gym and tennis courts, is looking for a Housekeeper/House Manager to run their home. This home is the primary residence to two Principals and their two dogs.

Your main duties will be:

  • Managing the household as a whole

  • Hands-on housekeeping and laundry duties. Experience with high end fabrics and designer items essential

  • Overseeing and working with the Housekeeper/Cook

  • Main point of contact for both Principals for all house related matters

  • Running errands

  • Basic flower arrangements

  • Notifying Maintenance Officer of all repairs

  • Managing/organising dinners and events – service experience desirable

  • Overseeing security/access of the property

  • Out of hours dog care required when Principals not in residence to be split on rota with other members of staff. Occasionally cover dog walking when Dog Walker takes leave

  • Very occasional driving duties – airport/train station

Excellent references and Enhanced DBS check required

Live In Full Time Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:30, 42.5 hours 

Salary: £40k-£45k DOE

Three-bedroom large semi-detached house with garage and large garden - utility bills to be paid by the employee
