Live in Cook/Housekeeper job in Leicestershire.
A client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a switched-on, experienced, and organised Cook/Housekeeper for their large property in Leicestershire. Duties to include cooking good quality meals for both principals as well as dinner parties when they are hosting, along with hands-on housekeeping duties. The couple enjoy entertaining but also will often be out or away so there will be quiet times with no cooking.
You would be working alongside the cleaners and gardeners, so this role would suit someone who enjoys working within a team. The housekeeping duties will include cleaning, tidying, laundry, and ironing. The Cleaner will assist with the deeper cleaning in the house.
The principals also live in The US for a few months during the year and would like for the cook/housekeeper to accompany them for 5-6 weeks a year.
Duties to include:
- Cook Lunch and Dinner
- Keeping the property clean and tidy.
- Laundry and ironing duties
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required
- Errands and shopping
- A driver is required for this role
The ideal candidate would have extremely high attention to detail and would have had experience working in private households and checkable references
Accommodation: A 4 bedroom bungalow on the property will be provided, unfurnished!
Working hours: Thursday – Monday, with an 8am or 9am start. split shift with afternoons off
Salary: £40 000 - £45 000 per annum
