Live in Couple Job in West Sussex

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for lovely returning clients of Greycoat’s whose couple of 12 years retired. They have 3 children aged 21, 17 & 14. The eldest is at University so only two of the children are at home, with the 17 year old going to University as well next year. They have 2 Dogs (Great Danes) and 3 mini–Shetland Ponies. The property sits within 40 acres of land (5 acres of that is the garden). The house is a 7-bedroom Georgian property.

Duties will include:

  • Keeping the house clean and tidy

  • Laundry and ironing

  • Occasional informal family cooking, mainly for the children

  • Shopping and running errands

  • Wardrobe management

  • Garden Maintenance (mowing lawns, trimming, strimming)

  • Pond maintenance

  • Tennis court maintenance

  • Use and maintenance of garden machinery

  • Handyman duties (basic repairs and DIY)

  • House and pet sitting when the family are away

The ideal couple will be hardworking, proactive and animal friendly.

Accommodation: 2-bedroom detached cottage with private garden. Pets will be considered.  

Start date: ASAP, but flexible for the right couple

Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work

Hours: 8/9am – 4/5pm with a lunch break

Drivers: at least one to drive

Salary £65,000 - £75,000 gpa, depending on experience
