Live in Couple Job in Buckinghamshire
A lovely returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Live in Couple to work at their 2nd residence in Buckinghamshire. They have 4 children, 3 of whom live in America and the youngest (14 years old) goes to Boarding school full time in nearby Berkshire. The main house consists of 7 bedrooms. They also have a Dog. The family are usually in residence for approximately 5/6 months of the year. The property sits on approx. 1 acre.
Duties:
Keeping the house clean and tidy at all times
Laundry and ironing
Family cooking when the family are in residence
Shopping and running errands
Looking after the dog when the family are away
Garden maintenance (lawn mowing, trimming, strimming, pruning, watering etc)
Driving duties (school picks up, airport runs etc)
Occasionally having to look after the 14 year old son if the family are away
Handyman duties (basic DIY and minor repairs etc)
Security of the property
Maintenance duties
Liaising with contractors
The ideal Couple would be flexible, hardworking, polished, gracious, able to take initiative and self starters. A good family style cook is desirable. The role will be more full on when the family are in residence so flexibility is required.
Days: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week when the family are not in residence. Flexibility to work longer hours and weekends when the family are in residence
Drivers: At least one must drive
Accommodation: 1 bedroom guest house. Pets are welcome.
Start: Flexible for the right couple
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
