Live In Couples Job - Loughborough Leicestershire - July / Aug 2024 start - self contained 2 bed accommodation offered - £70,000+ gpa depending on experience

Our client is looking for an experienced Couple to take on a role looking after a newly renovated family home near Loughborough Leciestershire.  The family have been renovating the property over recent years to bring it to layout and standard that better suits their day to day needs and now it is time to bring in a Couple to look after its smooth running both inside and out.  The property has 4 main bedrooms and 2 guest apartments which are all self contained and linked to the main house and it set in 6 acres of landscaped grounds.  Family of 4 adults and a dog.  The house has been refurbished to a high spec modern standard and needs a couple who have attention to detail and who can be proactive and manage their own time.

Duties will include:

  • All hands on cleaning including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and steaming

  • Household laundry and ironing

  • Wardrobe management

  • Keeping and checking household inventories in bathrooms and general household supplies

  • Bed changing

  • Putting in place cleaning schedules for daily, weekly and monthly tasks - deep cleaning

  • Shopping

  • Running errands

  • Occasional light cooking 

  • General Maintenance Gardening of the ground

  • Use and care of garden machinery

  • General property maintenance both inside and out

  • Managing household utilities and systems (heating, water etc)

  • Pool maintenance

  • Driving and looking after the household vehicles and garages

  • Organising and overseeing trades and contractors

  • Dog care - vets appointments, walking, groomers visits

  • Dog sitting and house sitting when the family are not in residence

This role will be to start in July / August 2024

Accommodation will be a separate self contained two bedroom apartment which will be newly renovated.  Own entrance, use of garage area and courtyard.  Temporary accommodation may be in place in the interim while works are carried out but this would be off site.  All bills covered by the employer including reasonable utility bills.

Working week will normally be Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with flexibility on evenings and weekends

£70,000 gpa + depending on experience
