Live In Couples Job - Nr Bromyard, Herefordshire - £70,000+ GPA

Our client is looking for an experienced Couple to look after a family home in rural Herefordshire.  Family of 4 with two children who board weekly and relative who lives in a separate cottage on the property.  They also have 4 dogs.

The main house has 6 bedrooms and is set in a total of 52 acres of grounds comprising of formal and informal gardens, lawns, woodland and a lake.

They currently employ a part-time Groundsman and Gardener but have had a lot of landscaping done in the garden and now need additional help.

Duties will include:

  • Hands on cleaning
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Keeping the home well organised and tidy
  • Dealing with trades and contractors
  • Monitoring any maintenance needs in the property
  • Running errands
  • General maintenance gardening – should have some good gardening experience
  • Care of flower beds, management of the lake
  • General property maintenance
  • Driving (some evenings and airport runs for example) and keeping the household vehicles in good order
  • House and dog sitting

Both need to be confident drivers, have excellent references and Enhanced DBS checks.

Accommodation is a private and separate 1 bed apartment – pets considered but not suitable for visiting family

Full-time role normally Monday to Friday with some flexibility
