Live in Housekeeper Job in Tetbury, Gloucestershire

A new client of Greycoat is seeking an experienced Live-in Housekeeper to join their household. The role is based on a private estate and offers a two-bedroom cottage on the property as accommodation. The household consists of a couple and their two elderly dogs.

Duties to include:
• Maintain all areas of the house to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation
• Manage all personal and household laundry
• Polish silver, brass, and antique furniture as required
• Undertake light sewing and minor repairs (e.g. buttons, labelling)
• Prepare occasional family meals
• Provide kitchen support and assist with food preparation for entertaining
• Assist with lunch and dinner parties, including clearing up afterwards
• Manage guest accommodation and ensure it is welcoming at all times
• Organise groceries and run errands as requested
• Handle weekly recycling and general household upkeep
• Clean fireplaces as required
• Liaise with tradesmen, in coordination with the Head Gardener, regarding household maintenance
• Occasional light dog walking
• Maintain tidy and well-organised storage areas throughout the property
• Undertake spring and deep cleaning on a rotational basis throughout the year

Working week: Flexible – the client is open to 20–40 hours per week

Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 gross per annum, depending on hours worked

Accommodation: Two-bedroom cottage on the estate – open to pets and may consider applications from couples
