Live-in Housekeeper / Nanny Cotswolds, Gloucestershire

A lovely new client is looking for a live-in Housekeeper/ Nanny for their property in the Cotswolds The property is currently undergoing renovation work and is due to be completed in Autumn. The family consists of mum dad and two school-age children completing the family are two dogs. This is a friendly family who are looking for someone to fit in with the family who feels comfortable and who will stay with the family long term. The family are looking for someone who is upbeat, positive, can manage their time effectively and in mums words "Just be another me". You would ideally be a team player as you would be working alongside another long-standing full-time live-in Housekeeper.

Housekeeping duties: (shared with alongside the other housekeeper)

Deep cleaning, preparation of bedrooms and bathrooms and main areas
Laundry and ironing & Wardrobe management
Preparing simple family-style meals for the family and occasionally guests
Helping with getting children ready in the morning alongside mum
Grocery shopping & Keeping an inventory of pantry/fridge/freezer

Occasional

Dog sitting
House sitting
Babysitting
Proxy parenting

It would be a big bonus to the family to find someone who would like to travel with them to events in England and on vacations. Overtime might be required from time to time. A Spanish, Portuguese or Italian speaker would also be a bonus but not essential.

Days: Thursdays, Friday, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays. Days off Tuesday & Wednesday

Hours: 40 Flexible for overtime on occasion

Start date: October 2024 ideally but flexible for the right candidate

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 gross per annum Negotiable for the right person depending on skills and experience

Accommodation: Cottage separate from the main house. A large bedroom with an ensuite. The kitchen and living area would be shared with the other housekeeper.
