Live in Nanny, Hampstead, May start
A lovely new client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Live in nanny to care for their little girl, who is due early-to-mid May 2026. Mum is planning to spend three months on maternity leave before returning to work, but the flexibility to work on a shared care basis is essential as the baby’s grandmother will also be involved.
The ideal Nanny will be warm, self-motivated, proactive, and open to feedback. The willingness to muck in and follow instructions is very important for the family, as well as cleanliness and tidiness.
The family is looking for someone long-term, and as such previous longevity in a role with a newborn is essential.
An up to date first aid certificate and police check are essential for this position.
Duties:
- All nursery duties
- Supporting Mum with everything baby-related
- Occasional overnights and proxy parenting
- Appropriate stimulation and activities (tummy time, playgroups, etc.)
- Managing baby’s daily routines such as feeding and sleeping
- Keeping the baby’s belongings and areas tidy and organised
- Doing the baby’s laundry
- Managing baby-related logistics
- Ad hoc light housekeeping
Salary: £39,000 to £45,000 GPA
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 7am to 6/7pm
Driving: bonus but not essential
Travel: yes (mainly Europe and USA)
Language: Spanish strongly preferred
Other staff employed: housekeeper
Accommodation: own bedroom and bathroom on the top floor of the family home
