Live in or Live out Part-time or full-time child-friendly Housekeeper Job in Oxford,
A lovely relaxed informal down to earth family with three children are looking for an experienced and warm-natured housekeeper to look after them and their 6-bedroom family home. The role is primarily hands-on housekeeping, helping with the childrens morning routine, taking the youngest one to playgroup one day a week and cooking simple family style meals for the family. Mum works from home 4 days per week and one day in the office and is very hands-on with the children The family would ideally like someone who has a muck-in attitude and is happy to help out with whatever needs doing, someone trustworthy, discreet, and with a positive attitude who will show kindness to their children. The family used to have a nanny, although are looking for someone who will focus on the housekeeping.
Duties to include:
All Housekeeping duties including laundry, and ironing
Cooking for the family will provide simple family favourite recipes
Taking the youngest child to playgroups one afternoon a week
walking the children to school on occasion when mum has appointments
Some school pick-ups
Other ad hoc as required
Driving is not essential as the property has good access to public transport although it would be preferred. The family are looking for candidates with proven experience working in a similar role and checkable references. you must be a non-smoker and be willing go on a 1 day first aid course.
House: 6-bedroom,4 bathroom
Accommodation: Bedroom with ensuite bathroom in the main house
Hours: Flexible to consider all different working hours and patterns
Salary: Live in £35,000 - £38,000 / Live out £17 Gross per hour (Negotiable for the right candidate)
Start: As soon as the right candidate is found
