Live-out Housekeeper Job in Winchester
A friendly family based in Winchester is looking for an experienced, reliable, and organised Housekeeper to help manage their large 6-bedroom home with annex. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who takes initiative and enjoys working in a supportive family environment.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day care and smooth running of the household, and while you’ll work independently, you may also liaise with external contractors and services as needed.
There is one friendly family dog, so you must be comfortable around animals and happy to help with occasional walks and basic pet care.
Duties to include:
General housekeeping to a high standard
Laundry and ironing
Organising household supplies and managing stocks
Coordinating MOTs and liaising with contractors
Light food preparation
Cooking is a bonus but not essential
Occasional dog walking and pet care
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in private households, excellent attention to detail, and checkable references.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
