Live out Housekeeper Job, Notting Hill, West London

We are seeking an experienced, reliable housekeeper for a lovely family based in West London. The household consists of a couple and their two children, aged 2 and 5 years old. A weekend housekeeper will also be employed, so this role focuses on weekday support.The family lives in a spacious five-bedroom house over five floors, with two small yards that will need to be kept tidy and well maintained. The role is primarily housekeeping focused, with light childcare support for the 2-year-old for short periods during the day. There will be no sole charge of the children.The client is looking for someone kind, trustworthy, and flexible, with excellent attention to detail and a high standard of cleaning. The ideal candidate will be confident with laundry and ironing, enjoy cooking simple meals for children, and be happy to assist with general household organisation. Holidays need to be taken when the family is away – they typically travel for a month in August, over Christmas and New Year and at Easter.

Duties to include:

  • High-standard cleaning and upkeep of the home
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Organising and tidying
  • Keeping the two small yards tidy
  • Light childcare support for the 2-year-old (no sole charge, short periods only)
  • Accepting parcels and deliveries
  • Running errands, including trips to the dry cleaners
  • Food preparation and cooking simple meals for the children( or the whole family - subject to experience)
  • Putting shopping away and general household support
  • Packing and unpacking

The ideal candidate will be a strong housekeeper who enjoys cooking, is excellent with laundry and organisation, and has a warm, kind personality. Good communication skills, reliability, initiative, and common sense are essential.

Days: Monday – Friday

Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (flexible)
