Live Out Housekeeper/Cook Job in Chelsea
A lovely client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking an energetic and proactive Housekeeper to join their established household team in Chelsea. This is a formal household with a welcoming family environment. The principals have three young children, so the successful candidate must be child-friendly; however, there are two live-in nannies employed, therefore no childcare duties are required.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, organised and able to work harmoniously alongside the Head Housekeeper and the wider household team. You should be confident taking initiative while maintaining excellent attention to detail. The role may involve occasional travel for a few weeks per year in the future.
Applicants should have strong English and communication skills, be well-presented, discreet, and dog-friendly, with previous experience working in UHNW households and maintaining the highest housekeeping standards.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and maintaining the home to a high standard
- General laundry and ironing
- Cooking a few times per week
- Assisting the household when entertaining guests
- Occasional travel with the family
Days: Monday – Friday (occasional weekends required)
Hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Salary: £45,000 -£50,000 GPA
